Frame Construction

We are capable of building any frame to your specifications.

The frame rails are first bolted to our Jig and remain there for the entire boxing process. Our frame Jig holds the rails to the original 1932 dimensions.

Straightening the Rails

All of our frame rails start out with a good cleaning. Next they need to be “fine-tuned” because the rails tend to be a little wavy from the Stamping Process. We use two specially designed tools to reshape the rails so the top and bottom of the rails are at 90 degrees to the sides. Then the rails are hammered and dollied to our specifications to eliminate any waves and wrinkles. We do all of this while the rails are still bolted in the Jig.  

Welding the Boxing Plates

While the frame rails are in the Jig we fit the boxing plates and slowly TIG weld them into place. To ensure the welds remain as cool as possible, we make small “runs” and rotate them front to back and side to side. This process is generally slow do to the chance of overheating the rails too quickly, resulting in warping. This process is fully TIG welded, for maximum penetration, and strength. All of our frames are completed TIG welded by a certified Tig wilder.


This is our finished perimeter frame with front cross member, center section, and rear shock bar installed. Ready to be picked up.

Finished Rolling Frames

Our frame Jig holds the rails to the original 1932 dimensions.

We are capable of building any frame to your specifications.

We can build a “32” frame with a tubular X member (with transmission mount), front cross-member, and rear cross-member (coil over or buggy spring set up) pinching and bobbing, or build to fit a Model “A”. Plus front and rear spreader bars. Our “32” Perimeter Frame, only comes with front cross member, rear shock bar and center X member. All of our frames are completely TIG welded.
